Officers, supervisors, and managerial level employees from the Citra Mina Group of Companies underwent a Total Quality Management + Employees Productivity & Efficiency. The workshop was a 3-day activity conducted last March 7-9, 2017 at the Northern Blue Fin Conference Room, CMPHI Business Compound attended by employees from member companies of the CMGC. Internal issues were uncovered and discussed on the said activity, with the main emphasis placed on the employees’ quality commitment toward their work as a result of total quality implementation. The said training is among the best training programs for officers, supervisors, and managerial level lined-up in the CHRD Annual Training Plan. It was conducted to foster a culture that is continuously oriented towards customer satisfaction while minimizing the real cost of production. The training workshop discovered internal and external issues that need to be addressed to help the company consistently improve quality by producing excellent output for business continuity. Total Quality Management requires productivity to be considered not just as an indicator of efficiency but also a measure of effectiveness. Ms. Jocelyn Sanchez, appointed training provider, emphasized the benefit of TQM. The CHRD training team attentively facilitated the training. The successful implementation of the concept can now be a significant tool of the CHRD and the entire organization. After the training, each participant came to the realization that proper cooperation is a necessary to continually move towards business excellence, growth, sustainability and profitability which contribute to the company’s success. “Quality” as defined by Citraminians is “doing the right things right the first time & every time to achieve excellent products and services” will result to the success of the organization. Citraminians need to be, if they are not already, “Forward-thinkers and Great Achievers”. Everyone’s commitment, honesty, & openness are keys to battling the upcoming challenges ahead.
